1-6-18 Sat.

This past week I spent a few days working over at my dads house. My friend Bob, his been helping me. Doing some upgrades.

Larry and I went to the beach yesterday morning and it was such a beautiful morning! Ideal conditions. The waves were not aligned perfectly but it was better than it's been for a while. Here's a couple of pictures. The first one I took and there's about a three quarter moon still above the horizon when we got there.

This is what it look like 2 hours later, the sun was shining brightly, the water was glassy, just all around good conditions.

You know it really bugs me? When you're used to doing something and everything works out on your computer and then all of a sudden the next time you use the computer, that same technique does not work. I'll tell you what I'm talking about specifically I just inserted the 2nd picture from the beach and my computer would not allow me to get the cursor past the picture. I know, it sounds like no big deal. But, I've been doing this blog for over 2 years and doing it the same way and now something's changed, and it's not me. I guess I just like things to work the way they are supposed to. The way I got around it and got the picture where I wanted it I left a few blank lines and then started typing again. Then I inserted the picture into that space.

My grandchildren have recuperated from their colds. You know how it is in the family when someone gets a cold  and passes around. I really missed seeing them. I'm taking them to an outing this morning and it will be lots of fun. I really enjoy spending time with them, they're such great kids. But, I guess all grandparents say that don't they?

I'm looking forward to seeing Sarah and the family in February. They'll be a lot of fun. The kids want to learn how to fly the drones and go to the beach with me. I've already warned him it's dark when we leave the house.

I hope you have a great weekend, Maranatha!
